At the end of the summer the UPP Creative Artists Book is presented in Portugal (Algarve and Madeira) and Mexico (Guadalajara, Jalisco). I am excited about showing art prints from a project I called myself #signaltonoise emerged from ‚El Estado de las cosas‚.
2019 started off in January with the UPP Creative Artists Book presentation in Munich. Last Saturday United Photo Press proudly opened the book presentation in Landshut together with a selection of photography of 14 artists.
The Casa da Cultura in Setúbal was the appropriate venue for the celebration and presentation of the Book. The exposition is worth a visit as it shows the variety of 22 artists from all over the world. The 28 Years of UPP Creative Artists Book is also available for purchase. ‚the dance‘ – fuga y misterio // ink on paper, 2017 will also be in the UPP 28 YEARS BOOK. It is a Tango-inspired storyline. The bandoneon‘s rhythm marks the lines and empowers the dancer straightaway at the first stroke – escape and mystery. Where will that dance lead to? ‚fusion‘ I started this drawing in ink with the musician playing the contrabass until I overheard the conversation with his instrument.
